Beach Fees for Seaside Heights - 2017


The general operating season commences on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend and continues through Labor Day.  Your beach badge or wristband must be worn and shall be clearly visible at all times while using the beach. Beach admission for all children up to and including 11 years old is FREE.

Seaside Heights charges a beach fee to help defray expenses related to providing visitors one of the cleanest and safest public beaches on the East Coast.

    • Daily fee - $8
    • Weekly badge - $35 (Sunday through Saturday)
    • Season badge - $45 if purchased on or before May 15th
    • Season badge - $60 if purchased after May 15th
    • Senior Citizen season badge - $10 for persons 65 years of age and older
    • Children 11 years of age and under - free every day
    • Active and retired military personnel and their dependents - free every day with the appropriate Common Access Card, Uniformed Services ID Card, DD Form 214, or Veterans Benefit ID Card issued by the VA.
    Opening and closing times at the ocean beaches during the operating season are as follows (except during inclement weather):

    Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Holidays: Open 9:00 a.m./Close 6:00 p.m. Cashier booths close at 6:00 p.m. Any person entering or remaining on the beach after 6:00 p.m. must possess a valid beach badge or the daily wristband of the day (purchased before 6:00 p.m.) until the beach is
    cleared at 9:00 p.m. Lifeguards leave the beach at 7:00 p.m. SWIMMING IS ONLY PERMITTED WHEN LIFEGUARDS ARE ON DUTY.

    Monday to Thursday: Open 9:00 a.m./Close 4:00 p.m. Cashier booths close and beach attendants leave at 4:00 p.m. Lifeguards leave the beach at 5:00 p.m. A beach badge/wristband is required to enter or remain on the beach from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. SWIMMING IS ONLY PERMITTED WHEN LIFEGUARDS ARE ON DUTY.
    The Boardwalk Promenade may be closed for public use by the Seaside Heights Police Department between 3:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m
