Seaside Heights has a variety of great events...both on the famous Boardwalk, and also on the Boulevard, the main road in town which runs parallel to the beach and boardwalk.

Wine on the Beach Festival - Saturday & Sunday, September 9th & 10th, 12pm to 5pm both days.

Held on the sand at the South Beach. Enter at Blaine Avenue. This upscale event hosts a dozen wineries and numerous food venues. Concerts on the beach stage on Saturday by Eaglemania and on Sunday by the NY Bee Gees. Performances start at 2:30 PM each day. Guests will also be able to attend wine and food related seminars and presentations. Tickets go on sale in August. “Wine in your hand, toes in the sand.”


4th Annual Celebration of Hope Walk - Saturday, September 9th, Rain or Shine.
Join us at the 4th Annual Celebration of HOPE Walk to support those affected by addiction. Time: Check-in begins at 8 am
Where: Hiering Avenue Beach in Seaside Heights, NJ
Distance: 2 miles
Cost: $10 registration; All registrants receive a free T-shirt at the walk.

Vintage Automobile Club of Ocean County 38th Annual Car Show
Sunday, September 10th, 9AM to 3PM on Bay Boulevard. Registration is between 8AM to 11AM. All cars that are at least 25 years old are welcome for judging. Over eighty trophies will be awarded! Proceeds benefit various local organizations. Sponsored by the Vintage Automobile Club of Ocean County. Free admission for spectators!


Paws in the Park at Barkwater Beach
End the season at Breakwater Beach with your dog! On September 10th, 2017, your dog can paddle in the Harbor Wave Pool and play catch in Minuteman Express pool! Dogs can swim from 3pm-5pm at “Barkwater” Beach Waterpark. Water bowls will be stationed throughout the waterpark during the event and each dog will receive 1 “Barkwater” Beach souvenir to take home.

Admission is $20 per dog, $10 per handler, and extra guests are $10 each, with proceeds benefiting a local animal charity.
Proceeds will be donated to the SPCA.

St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer - Saturday, September 23rd, 8am to 12 noon.
Let’s end childhood cancer. Together.

Register, form a team, and invite your friends and family to join. Or, join an existing team. Then, be a fearless fundraiser for the kids of St. Jude, and explore the cool gear you can earn.

Thanks to committed fundraisers, like you, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for anything.
St. Jude has helped push the overall survival rate for childhood cancer from less than 20% when we first opened our doors to 80% today. St. Jude won’t stop until no child dies from cancer.


The 2nd Annual Oktoberfest takes place on Saturday, Sept. 30th and Sunday, Oct. 1st from 11AM to 6PM both days. Join us on the Boulevard between Webster Ave and Dupont Ave. Oktoberfest kicks off on Saturday at 11AM with the Tapping of the Keg! The event also features seasonal craft beer tastings, great bands all weekend long, authentic German food, artisans and crafters, beer garden, food trucks, and kids zone. Paid Admission.

9th Annual “QUE by the SEA” BBQ Festival & Competition - Saturday, September 23rd, 11AM to 10PM and Sunday, September 24th, 11AM to 6PM.

Saturday and Sunday, featuring a BBQ lover’s weekend packed with mouth-watering specialties along with all day musical entertainment, artists and crafters, and our 9th annual Seaside Heights BBQ Competition on Grant Avenue.


Italian Street Festival - - October 6th, 7th, and 8th.

Friday through Sunday, featuring performances from Italy. Friday, 4 to 10 pm, Saturday, 10 am to 10 pm, Sunday, 10 am to 8 pm. Savor a weekend of delectable Italian specialties, arts and crafts, outstanding entertainment and a parade that is bound to delight young and old alike. 26th Annual Ocean County Columbus Day Parade at 1:00 pm, Sunday on the Boulevard.

FISH (Fishin’ In Seaside Heights) - October 7th

Catch our 14th Annual Children’s Fishing Tournament, Sponsored by the Seaside Heights Fishing Club, on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 10AM until 2PM. Registration begins at 9AM at the Carteret Avenue Stage. Tournament is located on the oceanfront between Hiering and Hancock Avenues.

Two Age Groups: Up to 12 years old and 13 to 16 years old
Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places! Awards will immediately follow the tournament at the Carteret Avenue Stage. Free T-Shirt to the first 200 participants!
Bring your fishing rod for a fun day of fishing and bait will be provided. If you do not know how to fish, the Seaside Heights Fishing Club members will be on hand to teach you.
Light refreshments will be served for lunch for the children.


Seaside Heights Half Marathon & 5K, Sunday, October 15th, 9am to 3pm.

The Ocean Running Club’s BIG 40th Annual Seaside Half Marathon and 5K will benefit the Tri-Boro First Aid Squad of Seaside Heights, Seaside Park, and Berkeley Twp. and The ORC Scholarship Fund. The flat, fast, out-and-back course starts at the Beachcomber Bar & Grill on the Boardwalk. Race begins at 9AM. New this year, run both races and receive extra bling!


Trick-Or-Treat Street & Howl-O-Ween, Sunday October 22nd, Noon to 5pm.
Takes place on the Boardwalk. Free admission, prizes, fun for everyone including pumpkin decorating, dog parade and kids’ costume parade, trick or treating, and pumpkin chunkin’ competition among local businesses.
