The First Night bracelet makes a great STOCKING STUFFER or GIFT for family and friends. For a cost of only $5.00 for each member of the family, you can enjoy a day filled with entertainment and begin a lasting FAMILY TRADITION.

There will be children’s shows, face painters, balloonists, and caricature portrait drawings in each of the participating arcades along the Boardwalk.
All attendees are required to purchase bracelets that entitle them to all entertainment and entries into a drawing for two gift baskets, both valued at over $250.00! The winning passport will be drawn after the fireworks display and the winner does not have to be present in order to win. The night will come to an end with a spectacular fireworks display at 5:00pm viewable from anywhere on the Seaside Heights Boardwalk.


Annual Christmas on the Island and Parade - Saturday, December 20, 12 PM to 5 PM.

A Free Christmas Parade along the Boulevard in Seaside Heights. Event is open to all Ocean County, NJ residents with gifts, giveaways, Santa’s Workshop, and a special Santa’s send-off with live entertainment as we light Santa’s way back home to the North Pole.

Seaside Half Marathon and 5K, Sunday October 19th.

The Ocean Running Club’s 37th Annual Seaside Half Marathon and 5K will benefit the Tri-Boro First Aid Squad of Seaside Heights, Seaside Park, and Berkeley Twp. and The ORC Scholarship Fund. The flat, fast, out-and-back course starts at the Beachcomber Bar & Grill on the Boardwalk and continues into Island Beach State Park. Race begins at 9 AM.


Italian Street Festival, Friday October 10th, Saturday, October 11th, and Sunday October 12th

The Festival runs Friday, from 4 PM to 10 PM, Saturday, 10 AM to 10 PM, and Sunday, from 10 AM to 8 PM. The street fest features Italian food, entertainment, arts, crafts, and more.

The 23rd Annual Columbus Day Parade steps off at 1 PM on Sunday, October 12th, on the Boulevard.

Enjoy floats, bands, antique cars, contests, and clowns. See this year's special group of entertainers from Italy: "Amixi de Boggiasco e del Golfo del Paradiso."


On Saturday, September 27th, Thunder 106 and the NEW JERSEY STATE PBA present the EVERYDAY HEROES CONCERT ON THE BEACH IN SEASIDE HEIGHTS.

This all day FREE Festival is a THANK YOU to those Brave men and women and to ALL of our Fire, Police, Military and Emergency Service Workers. Featuring a performance by Nashville recording artist Jamie Lynn Spears. Also performing will be After the Reign, Scott DeCarlo, Brian Clayton & the Green River Band, Rachel Allyn and Liv Devine.

The day will kick off at 11am and will end with Fireworks at dusk presented by the New Jersey Firefighters Mutual Benevolent Association.

Que by the Sea BBQ Competition & Festival - Sept. 19, 20, and 21

 "Que by the Sea"  -- the Sixth Annual Barbeque State Championship and Festival and also recognized as a Mid-Atlantic Barbecue Association State Championship in Seaside Heights, sanctioned by the Kansas City Barbeque Society. The event takes place on Grant Avenue at the following times:  Friday from 5:00pm to 10:00pm, Saturday from 10:00am to 10:00pm, and Sunday from 10:00am to 6:00pm.

The highlight of the event is the Barbeque State Championship.  This competition will feature contestants from throughout the tri-state, who provide the best overall BBQ in four categories including chicken, ribs, pork, and brisket.

Large food vendors will be selling tasty barbeque specialties along Grant Avenue. There will also be artists and crafters, music, and retail vendors.


Seaside Semper Five - Saturday, September 13

The Seaside Semper Five and 1 mile fun run takes place in Seaside Park to benefit the U.S. Marine Corps and the MARSOC* Foundation starting at 9 a.m.

Join us September 13th in Seaside Park, New Jersey as we honor our Marines and Sailors in one of the region’s most significant events of the year. Thousands of spectators will line the boardwalk for the First Annual Seaside Semper Five as runners take to the boards on a scenic certified course along the ocean.

The event is a 5K Run/Walk and a 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk. Awards will be given to male and female finishers by age group including youth age group trophies. All participants receive an official long-sleeve Under Armour t-shirt and patriotic Marine Corps wrist bands.

33rd Annual Clownfest - Returning to Seaside Heights for 2014 - Sept 13 & 14

Clowns will roam the boardwalk both Saturday and Sunday. The Clownfest Big Clown Parade will take place on Sunday, September 14th at 2:00pm along the Boardwalk. Enjoy a weekend full of slapstick comedy, vivacious shows, and colorful clown creations.

Event Coordinator, Vincent A. Pagliano , of the National Clown Arts Project, Inc. shared that everything is all set for next year. “The clowns will be back next year, and will make it happen again; new boards, old clowns.” 2014’s Clownfest will be the 33rd Annual Clownfest, and the 24th hosted in Seaside Heights. He went on to share that he believes “clowns belong on the Seaside Heights Boardwalk. The heart of the boardwalk and what happens here in Seaside Heights is the activities, and that’s why we are coming back.” The clowns, and their weekend full of free activities and clowning around on the boardwalk pairs perfectly with Seaside Heights offerings of good old fashion family fun!

All the activities are planned by the National Clown Arts Project, Inc. in cooperation with the Borough of Seaside Heights and the Seaside Heights Business Improvement District, Inc.


Seafood in Seaside Festival -
Seaside Heights will be holding its annual "Seafood in Seaside" Festival and Craft Show on Saturday and Sunday, September 6 and 7, 2014. Our festival times are as follows: Saturday from 10 AM to 7 PM and Sunday from 10 AM to 5 PM on Grant Avenue in Seaside Heights. This year marks the first year ever that the Seafood in Seaside Festival will take place for two days on Saturday and Sunday!!

Seaside Heights is the place to be for seafood lovers. There will be tastes to satisfy every hankering, from savory to sweet. The annual festival features some of Seaside's finest seafood and dessert specialties.

The Seafood Festival will feature: blackened shrimp and scallop kaboSeafood Lobster Hatbs, coconut shrimp, crab cake sandwiches, cream of crab soup, catfish sandwiches, sushi, gator legs, cannoli's and much more. Seafood will be provided by Ryan's Deli, Jonathan's Harbor, Sherri's Crab Cakes, Big Daddy's Chicken & Ribs, Cajun Jax BBQ, Teresa's Osaka Asian Bistro, DRJ Catering, Umberto's II, J&J Concessions and many more.

Guests can take a break from eating and browse the over fifty vendors participating on Grant Avenue. The vendors' tables will be overflowing with a wide variety of items for all ages, including jewelry, sunglasses, paintings, candles, wood crafts, apparel,
and much more. The event will feature musical performances all weekend long!

The 3rd Annual DAG is here! The DAG is an awesome event that raises money for Cancer research and patient care. They ask players to DONATE, there are NO ENTRY FEES for most divisions including men's, women's and coed 2's (B, A + AA levels). 100% of all donations go to the charities! This year's event features a $5,000 prize purse for the Open divisions on Saturday! On Sunday, they are excited to host the Volley America Juniors National Championships!! Entry fees for Open divisions start at $100/team. Fees for the Volley America Junior's National Championships start at $50/team. In addition to the great event competition, there will be a DJ, serving contests, chinese auctions, food and drink discounts, and more!

In 2012, The DAG was created to honor two of Great American Volleyball's most important members, David Allen Gant and Denise Adrion Gant. Both David and Denise were terrific people by all standards and both fell victim too early to cancer. We all have been or will be affected by this terrible disease, so please come out this weekend and support our fight against cancer and help some of those who are currently battling.

The Summer Solstice Art & Craft Festival
presented by Vendors Outpost will take place on Saturday, June 21st from 10:00am to 3:00pm at Hemingway’s Cafe located at 612 Boulevard, Seaside Heights. The festival is indoors, open to the public and admission is free.

Featuring a huge variety of local artists and crafters, the festival is a wonderful place to shop for unique gifts, decorative items, jewelry and more. In addition to the over 50 amazing displays, there will be door prizes, a henna tattoo artist, a free canvas tote bag for the first 100 adults and a free make-n-take craft for kids attending the show.

Vendors Outpost is proud to support the community and a portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to a local charity.

Summer Job Fair - Saturday, May 3

The Annual Seaside Heights & Vicinity Summer Job Fair will be held Saturday, May 3rd from 12pm to 3pm on the Boardwalk. Gather in front of the Webster Avenue Information Booth. Sponsored by the NJ Department of Labor and the Seaside Heights BID.

The job fair will be looking for prospective employees for the summer season. Positions include: Game and ride operators, arcade workers, cashiers, servers, counter help,, sales, deli and stock clerks, henna tattoo artists, UPS drivers, fast food, camp counselors, and lifeguards. Hiring will be done on the spot.


Easter Promenade on the Boardwalk - This is an opportunity to show off your best Easter outfits!

The Annual Easter Outfit Contest is held on the Boardwalk at the Franklin Ave Stage. Registration for the "best dressed' contest begins at 10AM at the Webster Ave Information Booth. Judging is at 1PM. There will be cash prizes for the winners in several categories. As always, on Easter Sunday, the Mayor and Council will be giving out FREE carnations dyed in holiday colors to the ladies while they stroll the Boardwalk in front of the Webster Ave Information Booth.
